Ferebee Farm

Sheep Shearing and Grass Fed Lamb!

Come on out to the farm for Sheep Shearing Day!

Ferebee Farm's annual Sheep Shearing Day will be held Saturday April 7th, weather permitting.

Watch as our rare Gulf Coast Native sheep get their spring "haircuts" and see our baby lambs. We will be shearing the "old fashioned way" by hand with blade shears.
Our products will be available to purchase on site, including our pastured meats (lamb, pork, and chicken), wool yarn, handmade soap, and organically tanned sheepskins.

Lamb is back in stock!!!

100% grassfed Gulf Coast lamb
Available cuts include loin chops, shoulder steaks, racks, ribs, whole legs, shanks, roasts, ground, and soup bones.
Hurry and get some, it won't last long!

Due to increased meat processing fees, we have had to increase the price of some of our products.

Visit the Product List on our website to view the changes.

We have been accepted into the Matthews Community Farmer's Market, which is also held 8 am - noon. We will begin selling at the Matthews market April 14th, the week after our annual Sheep Shearing Day.

We will be back at the Old Town Market in June when the summer market opens back up on Thursday evenings.

Now Accepting 2018 Turkey Reservations!!

Pre-order a Ferebee Farm turkey for Thanksgiving! (or Christmas!)

Our turkeys are raised on pasture, enabling them to consume copious amounts of green grass and bugs. They are fed a locally-grown, non-GMO grain ration to supplement their pasture. We never give our turkeys any antibiotics or other drugs. The high amount of green forage in their diet results in high levels of beta carotenes and Omega-3s in the final product.

There is a limited number of reservations available, so do not delay!
The turkeys will be harvested October-November; you will be notified when yours is ready.

Pork Longaniza & Homemade French Fries

Our gourmet longaniza hot dogs are made from 100% Ferebee Farm pastured pork, with no fillers or preservatives.

To cook, just bring a pot of water to a boil, when the water is boiling, add the longaniza and boil for about 6-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F.
If you prefer, you can finish cooking them on the grill, but we recommend boiling them beforehand to help keep the casing from splitting.

For sides, we fried up a pack of our salted fatback, and then cooked the french fries in the oil left over.
